Austin Reed started his career in journalism during his (yes...) middle school years, serving as a "junior correspondent", for the ABC affiliate, in Portland, Oregon.

Austin was later hired by the Fox affiliate, (also in Portland) when he was 17 years old.

Over the years, Austin has worked as an anchor, reporter and newsroom manager, for ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, MyNet and Independent stations, in numerous markets all across the country.

Austin also has extensive experience in radio news reporting.

When asked what he loves most about broadcast journalism? He said: "Every single aspect of it, except for some of those super late night calls covering breaking news."

In 2021, Austin launched the 'Austin Reed Network', which can be seen on a number of stations on the West Coast, or on ROKU/Amazon Fire TV.

Austin lives in Fresno, CA with his wife, twin daughters and animals.
