Beau Berman is the founder and host of The RPRTR Podcast, a show in which he interviews current and former television journalists from across the country. 

 

Beau is an Emmy Award-Winning news anchor, reporter, and videographer who has over a decade of experience as a professional writer, editor, producer, reporter, and anchor on television. 

 

Prior to starting the reporter podcast and pivoting to a media relations and marketing career, Beau worked as an on-air anchor and reporter for KOSA-TV (CBS) in Odessa, TX, WTIC-TV (FOX) in Hartford, CT, and WTAE-TV (ABC) in Pittsburgh, PA. 

 

He won an Emmy Award for an investigative report he filed in Pittsburgh and was nominated for over a dozen more Emmy awards for his work in Connecticut. 

Beau also won three Edward R. Murrow awards for his investigative reporting in Texas and Connecticut. He's also been honored with multiple awards from the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters and the Society of Professional Journalists. 

 

During his 11-year on-air career, he reported twice from inside The White House and was one of the first reporters who arrived at the scene of the Sandy Hook shootings in Connecticut and the Tree of Life shootings in Pennsylvania. 

 

He's been featured on the This American Life podcast, NPR News, and he broke the story of Connecticut teenager, Justina Pelletier, which ended up in People Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and on The Dr. Phil Show. 

 

Beau is currently a co-founder and Marketing Director for Layer Origin Nutrition, a supplement company created by Beau and a team of Cornell University food scientists. He lives in Ithaca, NY with his wife, their two dogs, and three goats. Learn more about Beau at BeauBerman.com
