Candice Cruz is an actress, television host, producer, writer, and podcaster that can be seen on NBC LX as a guest entertainment expert and on her digital show ‘Candice Be Real.’   

This Kentucky-native, Latina-mix has had the “hustle” mentality all of her life. Candice is no stranger to dedication, hard work, and perseverance...even her journey to LA was completely unconventional. After hopping on a tour bus (yes, that really happened) and completing a nationwide tour running social media & marketing for a boy band (still, not joking!), Candice landed in her dream city of Los Angeles and made it her home.

From the red carpet to on-screen, Candice has accumulated 3M+ views across multiple networks including Peacock, Roku, Hollywood First Look Features, ESPN, AfterBuzz TV, Black Hollywood Live, Popcorn Talk, Buzz 360, and Red Carpet Report. 

Podcast airwaves are familiar with Candice from ‘Bossy Bonitas,’ an exciting podcast/webcast making a huge buzz throughout the Latinx community. 

Candice was cast as a leading role in an upcoming indie film set to release in early 2022.

She graduated Cum Laude with her B.A. in Journalism from the University of Kentucky, studied at the notable Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop for 6 years, and was selected as one of 30 participants (out of 500+ nationwide applicants) to be a part of the NBC Hosting Workshop and studied with the famed Marki Costello at Become A Host Academy.
