Dave Tarbert is an Emmy Award and 8-time national Telly Award-winning producer/director/cinematographer/editor/talent.
Dave began his broadcast career as NewsChannel 5’s Man on Music, the first feature reporter covering exclusively music and entertainment in a major-market television station.
Dave is still active on Cleveland’s airwaves, most recently as the producer/host for the popular series, Dave’s Big Fun on a Small Budget on WKYC 3News.
As a visual storyteller, Dave's new-media production company Tarbert Television has created acclaimed digital video projects for The Cleveland Museum of Art, MetroHealth System, The Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland State University, Ronald McDonald House and many other smaller and medium-sized private and public companies and organizations.
Dave’s currently the Workflow Coordinator and Adjunct Professor at Cleveland State’s School of Film & Media Arts.
In his free time, Dave enjoys tennis, golf, music, photography, traveling, cheering on the Cleveland Guardians, Cavaliers, and his alma mater’s University of Kentucky Wildcats.
