Jose DeGracia is a freelance filmmaker, writer, and professional wrestler in Jacksonville, Florida.
Family Virtues, a short film that he wrote and directed, was selected for the Orlando Film Festival in 2015. In 2018, the film was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, the invitation only international film festival in France.
Jose interned and later worked as a production assistant at NFL Films. While with the NFL, Jose worked on All or Nothing, NFL Replay, A Football Life and many other award-winning productions.
Jose self-published his first novel in 2021: Xtremis, a science fiction action adventure. He has plans for at least two more books to make it a series.
Jose is currently putting his skills behind the camera (and in the ring) to good use writing and shooting promos for the independent wrestling circuit all over the southeastern United States, as well as winning and defending wrestling championships in Florida, Georgia, Arkansas and more.
