Julie Tristan is the founder and owner of 8 Dogs Video, a television production company that creates unique and shareable videos that capture the stories of local businesses. Julie is an Emmy Award Winning multimedia journalist who has nearly two decades of experience as a professional photographer, writer and editor, working in both television and radio.

Prior to forming her production company, Julie had been going back and forth as an On-Air Talent in Radio & in TV for almost 20 years in St. Louis!

She is currently a TV producer and the narrator for "Spotlight STL" on KPLR 11 powered by HEC Media. She is also the midday and night on-air talent on Y98-FM.  She was most recently the morning show host on 103.3 KLOU-FM. Prior to that, Julie was a Host/Videographer on “Show Me St. Louis” on KSDK-TV.  She was also a News Anchor for “STL Now on ABC 30” on KDNL-TV, as well as working for 106.5 The Arch, 102.5 KEZK & Movin 101.1. 

Julie is also an animal advocate and was named the Philanthropist of the Year in 2017 by a local animal rescue and she is one of the most requested emcees in town for local charities.
