Mariana Góngora is a video journalist and documentarian based on the borderline between the United States and Mexico.
Mariana’s documentary work has given her the opportunity to produce, coordinate and create content in diverse places around the world.
As a sole proprietor, her work has been featured in news organizations like Democracy Now! In New York City and TeleSUR English in Quito, Ecuador, and most recently for Facebook Media.
As a filmmaker, she’s a recent fellow of Sundance’s Femme Frontera’s Documentary Lab where she is working on a documentary series on the U.S.-Mexico borderline about border identities between the U.S. and Mexico.
