Tauli Anderson Biography

Tauli Anderson

Multimedia Journalist

Newport Beach, California

My name is Tauli (Tah-lee) Anderson.  I am currently living in Southern California while freelance reporting, covering sports and current events.

I studied journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno.

While balancing a full-time student schedule, I also worked at the local NBC affiliate. Starting as an intern, my role grew into a full time position as an associate producer in the sports department where I traveled with the football team. This position allowed me to shoot sports highlights, as well as conduct pre and post game interviews.  I also learned to edit and write stories for nightly newscasts.

After graduating college, I moved to So Cal to continue to pursue my career in broadcast journalism. I landed my first job at TMZ in the sports department. I was able to write current sports stories for top sports broadcast companies like Fox Sports and NFL Network.  It is there that I learned more about the production side of the business. Today, I am continuing to write, edit, and produce content.

Now as a Freelance Journalist in front of the camera, I have been featured most recently on a national outlet- fill in anchoring and reporting for NewsNet,  as well as on FOX 5 San Diego covering the National Lacrosse League, KUSI for Prep Pigskin Report, and on a handful of city stations throughout Los Angeles.

I have a well-rounded skill set and honed talents in writing editing and producing.

Further, I am a recognized expert in communication and a communicative collaborator. My previous roles have strengthened my capabilities in organization and teamwork, including possessing a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
