Thomas Oppong entered the mass media in 2009 as a radio broadcast journalist delivering news reporting, live production, and interviewing in Ghana- West Africa. 


As a radio documentary producer, he quickly learned the power of storytelling using the human voice, and later, video. 

Thomas has worked on multiple award-winning radio and TV documentary film projects across Africa and Asia. 


While schooling in China between 2016 and 2020, he began filming his first solo feature documentary (Africa: China's Most Popular Student). The documentary chronicles the history of African students in China and attempts to understand the growing number of African students in China. The film is in post-production and set to release in March 2022.


From corporate videos, small business testimonial and social media videos, explainer videos, podcast production, and documentary filmmaking- Thomas finds his greatest fulfillment in telling stories in the simplest ways to convey targeted messages that take his audience on a journey into their inner selves. 


He currently co-hosts the CALLED TO MARRIAGE podcast together with his wife on anchor and YouTube. He also runs a personal YouTube channel where he shares lessons from his journey as a creator and family man.
